Terms of Use
Updated October 5, 2026
These terms apply to the Broomday iPhone app and broomday.app. By using Broomday you agree to them. They work together with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
What Broomday is — and isn't
Broomday shows NYC street-cleaning (alternate side parking) rules based on NYC DOT sign records and the NYC DOT and NYC 311 suspension calendars, and reminds you before cleaning. The data can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, signs on the street can change, and reminders depend on your iPhone's settings, location accuracy and network. Posted signs always take priority. You remain responsible for where you park. Broomday is not affiliated with NYC DOT, DSNY or the City of New York.
No liability for tickets or towing
To the extent permitted by law, Broomday is provided “as is” and we are not liable for parking tickets, towing, fees or any other loss arising from use of the app or website, including missed, late or incorrect reminders, wrong side-of-street guesses or wrong move suggestions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Broomday in the 12 months before the claim.
Broomday Pro subscriptions
- Broomday Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, billed yearly or monthly at the price shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. If a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel any time in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
