Broomday is built so that your whereabouts stay on your iPhone. There is no account and no sign-in.

Location and motion

Broomday uses your location and motion activity to notice when you park and to look up the street-cleaning rules for that curb. All of this happens on your device: the NYC street data ships inside the app, and your location is never sent to us or to anyone else.

What the app downloads

The app periodically downloads the alternate side parking holiday and suspension calendar from broomday.app. That request contains no location, identifier or personal data. Our host (Cloudflare) may briefly process your IP address to deliver it, as with any website.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist on this website, we store your email address and the borough you choose, only to tell you when Broomday launches. Ask us any time and we will delete it.

Analytics and ads

Broomday has no ads and no third-party tracking.
